Valued by industry leaders for his creative ideas and strategic vision, Paul turned events he managed into instant successes by securing major sponsorships from national firms including Laurentian Bank, Loto-Québec, Jean Coutu, Mr. Christie, Kraft, Gadoua, the SAQ, Unilever, Sleeman, Labatt.
Under his guidance for over 20 years, the International Balloon Festival of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu has taken an impressive leap – becoming one of the country’s biggest events. He is the recipient of a number of awards for his work with the Festival, among them recognition as “Personnalité Marketing du Québec” in 1999 for a growth strategy for the Festival that saw sponsorships rise from $53,000 to $1,500,000 in five years. Today, the event generates more than $7,000,000 in sponsorship revenue.
