Topping the charts of the province’s major events and a member of RÉMI (Regroupement des événements majeurs internationaux), the International Balloon Festival of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is a worlwide benchmark in hot-air ballooning and inflatable games. The Festival has over one million square feet of activity areas. It is the most family-friendly festival in Québec day and night and an important performance venue for national and international acts.

With Cogestion’s high level of commitment and leadership especially in the sponsorships arena the event has soared on all fronts and become financially sustainable.

  1. The event grew from a regional event with an $800,000 budget a major $12M international festival.
  2. Annual attendance is on average between 300,000 and 400,000 and sometimes as high as 500.000.
  3. Sponsorship revenue went from $53,000 to $7,000,000.
